We offer a wide variety of services based on our many years of experience and fish health training from the University Of Georgia School Of Veterinary Medicine. We have over 50 years of fish keeping experience and were hobbyists many years before we started our business. We are particularly aware of the needs and operation of small garden ponds, as well as very large koi ponds.
Weekly, bi weekly, & monthly routine maintenance
Scheduled visits to ensure your pond and fish health are in check, includes;

Complete pond drain and clean
We house your fish on site in our holding tank with aeration, while we drain and clean your pond & filtration system, then acclimate your fish back to your pond in a seamless professional manner, using methods of moving fish in the Japanese fashion minimizing stress, Includes;

Removal of debris from the pond and waterfall by vacuuming – we do not power wash the pond as that disturbs the beneficial bacteria and beneficial algae.

Cleaning of filter and skimmer components and pump as needed.

Making necessary minor adjustments to rocks if needed

Trimming dead plant material (fertilizing / repotting plants upon request).

Refilling of pond and testing

Remove of rocks or gravel if necessary

Vacation visits - you don't have to rely on your friend, neighbor or family member to take care of your pond while you are away, we will take care of it for you, with the ability to address any problems that arise. We will inspect your fish and equipment and test the pond water during each visit, and perform other duties as requested.

Consultation visits - we can come to your home or business and evaluate your pond efficiency and make recommendations for improvement. We can also evaluate the health of your fish and recommend treatment if necessary for bacterial infections or parasite infestations.
​
Microscope wet mounts - we can come to your home or business with our microscope to examine samples of slime coat from your fish to determine if there are any parasites present, recommend and provide treatment as necessary.
